Individual spiral forms are interlocked to give the piece a monumental quality. There is a perforated, porous essence to each individual piece, but they are interlocked into a solid, uniform piece, eliciting a sense of collectiveness.
The sculpture performs through its different forms. On the one side is the form of trees and nature, on the other an architectural monument. As people we stand individually, but when society comes together, then a monumental form of structure will emerge, hands working in harmony and rhythm.
